Following the successful inaugural BIA EH&S contests in 2005, BIA once again encourages distributors and manufacturers to highlight their companies' excellent performances in the areas of environmental stewardship, and/or employee health and safety, by entering BIA 's 2007 EH&S contests. 

BIA's EH&S contests are designed to boost recognition of individual companies for efforts that ultimately benefit the brick industry as a whole. 

The Winners of the 2005 Brick Industry Association Environmental Stewardship & Employee Health and Safety Contests:

• 2005 Environmental Stewardship Contest winners were Acme Brick Company and Glen-Gery Corp.

• 2005 Employee Health and Safety Contest winners were Acme Brick, Boral Bricks and Hanson Brick. 

The 2007 contest is now open for entries. All entries must be submitted online and must be completed and submitted by 5:00 p.m., EST on January 15, 2007.
